The PROVERB PICTURES are another collection of six fine art videos, all about 2 to 10 minutes in length.

The PROVERB PICTURES analyse the interdependence of words and phrases and fantasy of the speaker/receiver. The film maker uses complete freedom of interpretation by combining images with words in a dadaesque manner.
The Proverb Pictures are based on rules and regulation texts, e. g. the Mississippi fishing rules and regulations of 2011, and verbal phrases as used in sport pep talk or in fortune cookies. Film samples of Proverb Pictures are MIGRATING BIRDS PICTURE and MOST WANTED FUGITIVES PICTURE

MIGRATING BIRDS PICTURE is based on an ornithological categorizing text about the migrating birds of Florida, USA. The film is about the similarities of human appearance and characteristics of bird appearance in natural habitats.

MIGRATING BIRDS PICTURE, 2012, 54 seconds excerpt

MOST WANTED FUGITIVES PICTURE: The film produces images of the seven of the ten most wanted fugitives of the FBI, named by the FBI homepage january 2012.
Similar to "Migrating Birds Picture", the "Most Wanted Fugitives Picture" categorizes the different types of criminals and finds images beyond the passport image shown on the FBI site.

Samples of FBI Ten-most-wanted-fugitives list: THE STOCK FRAUDIST, THE WIFE-AND-CHILDREN-KILLER, THE GANG MEMBER, THE ROBBER AND MURDERER, THE DRUG TRAFFICKER, THE MASS MURDERER, etc.
